CareVets Napier has been a trusted part of the Hawke’s Bay community for many years. Our modern companion animal clinic is well-equipped with full laboratory facilities and dedicated surgical spaces, supported by a capable and experienced nursing team.

About the Role
We’re looking for a Veterinary Nurse who will also play an important role within our reception team, helping deliver a seamless experience for both patients and clients.

• Nurse consultations and patient care
• Surgical nursing and anaesthesia support
• Reception duties, bookings, and client communication
• Mentoring and supporting junior team members
• Maintaining hygiene, equipment, and clinical records
• Supporting the wider team across day-to-day clinic operations

Full-time or part-time hours will be considered for the right candidate. The roster includes 1 in 4 Saturdays.

About You
 We’re looking for an experienced veterinary nurse who enjoys variety and thrives in a collaborative team environment.

• Minimum 1+ year employed experience as a Veterinary Nurse
• Strong clinical nursing and patient care skills
• Confidence supporting surgery and nurse consultations
• Reception or client service experience is a bonus
• Excellent communication and organisational skills
• Calm, adaptable, and able to multitask
• Positive, team-focused attitude
