At the Vets, we know our nurses are the heart of the clinic. They’re the calm in the chaos, the extra set of hands during emergencies, the comfort for nervous clients, and the biggest advocates for our patients.
We’re looking for an experienced Veterinary Nurse to join our team on a 12 month maternity leave contract starting in September. This role would suit someone confident, compassionate, and genuinely passionate about patient care and client experience, who is willing to live by our clinic values;
You’ll be joining a supportive, close-knit team of 18 staff that values kindness, teamwork, humour, and high standards of care — for both our patients and each other.
About the role:
This is a varied nursing position where no two days are the same. You’ll be involved in a mixture of surgical nursing, hospital & medical nursing and reception work. Bonus if you enjoy dentistry! You will be required to work a weekly evening shift and 1 in 4 Saturdays. The role is an average of 33 hours per week worked over 5 days.
Our clinic is well equipped with everything you would expect from a Best Practice purpose built hospital, and a full induction and training will be provided.
