Emergency and Critical Care Veterinary Nurse

The Christchurch After Hours Veterinary Clinic is looking for experienced veterinary nurses to join our team.  We are an emergency veterinary facility supporting more than 45 shareholder clinics across the Christchurch and Canterbury region.   

The  clinic is open week nights, weekends, and public holidays, providing emergency and critical care for pets throughout Canterbury.   We work from a purpose built fully equipped clinic.     

The role
This role includes all aspects of veterinary nursing, including patient triage, nurse consults, IV catheter placement, venipuncture, radiography, surgical nursing and anaesthetic monitoring.   

We are looking for someone who is caring, confident, enthusiastic, and a great team player. You’ll need to be comfortable working in a busy environment, able to multitask, and remain calm under pressure when emotions may be high. This role includes weekend, overnight, and public holiday shifts.
