NZVNA Webinar

VetEducation and the New Zealand Vet Nurse Association (NZVNA) have joined forces to present an extraordinary series of lectures for vet nurses, by vet nurses. Embracing the adage “If you want to go far, go together,” our collaboration aims to reach vet nurses everywhere, enhancing their practice with valuable insights and practical knowledge. We hope these lectures will make a meaningful difference in your professional experience.

"Ready, Set, Stabilise: Stabilisation of the Critical Dog and Cat" is a practical and engaging session focused on the stabilisation of critically ill dogs and cats. It covers the primary survey process used to assess critical patients, explores different stages of shock and associated clinical signs, and highlights essential monitoring practices and equipment. The webinar also reviews key treatments such as oxygen therapy, fluid resuscitation, and medication use. Participants will deepen their understanding of emergency care and the important role veterinary nurses play in stabilising patients.
