Nurses attending this day will gain superior knowledge in compromised patient anaesthesia, with a specific focus on brachycephalic patients, paediatrics, geriatrics, and pregnancy and caesarean patients, as well as a practical of “real life” compromised anaesthesia cases requiring a full anaesthesia plan to be created to get them safely through their anaesthesia period

Nurses attending this day will gain superior knowledge in compromised patient anaesthesia, with a specific focus on brachycephalic patients, paediatrics, geriatrics, and pregnancy and caesarean patients. This course will be followed by a practical of “real life” compromised anaesthesia cases requiring a full anaesthesia plan to be created to get them safely through their anaesthesia period

By the end of this workshop delegates will:
- Assist in selection of anaesthesia protocols for patients of varying health status and disease states
- Demonstrate advanced knowledge of multiple compromised patients’ physiology and pathophysiology.
- Gain confidence with the monitoring, stabilisation and set up required for the anaesthetic period of multiple complex compromised patients
