Practical CPD: Clinical Veterinary Equipment Training Day

Would you like to develop a thorough understanding of your clinic’s equipment? This one-day workshop will give you the confidence to navigate clinical veterinary equipment with ease and highlight common issues that you can troubleshoot, directly in-clinic.
Delegate numbers are strictly limited with a small number of attendees to maximize the learning experience. Practical sessions will be delivered in small groups of 2 attendees per station to ensure plenty of hands-on practice and individual attention is provided.
Please note that there is a limit of two tickets per clinic.

Description

Would you like to develop a thorough understanding of your clinic’s equipment? This one-day workshop will give you the confidence to navigate clinical veterinary equipment with ease and highlight common issues that you can troubleshoot, directly in-clinic.

From performing maintenance on high-speed dental handpieces, sharpening dental elevators and learning about different dental burs, to fluid pump calibration, autoclave maintenance and patient monitor setup and troubleshooting. Our anaesthesia machine and support equipment will also be utilized in this workshop, to equip you with the knowledge to use these aids to their full potential and to enhance patient care in your practice. There will be an opportunity to learn maintenance on laboratory equipment (microscope, refractometer, centrifuge etc.,) and demonstrations for our radiograph equipment, with an aim to extend the life of any of your equipment, through proper use and care.

We’ll also be exhibiting an array of our surgical equipment, such as electrosurgery units, suctions units and power tools, which we’ll have you setting up, using and performing maintenance on, by the end of the workshop. With more general equipment on display too (clippers, scales, laryngoscopes), we endeavour to have you upskilled and ready to tackle any of these pieces of equipment!
