Clinical Excellence Award Terms and Conditions
Terms and Conditions:
- Eligibility: This competition is open to all current members of the New Zealand Veterinary Nursing Association. Membership must be valid at the time of entry and at the time of the conference.
- Entry Requirements: Participants must submit an original submission of no more than 500 words on the specified topic. Only one entry per member is allowed.
- Submission Deadline: All entries must be received by 9pm 1 May, 2025. Late submissions will not be considered.
- Judging: Entries will be judged by a panel of NZVNA executive committee members and a representative from Boehringer Ingelheim. The decision of the judges is final, and no correspondence will be entered into.
- Prize Details: The prize includes round-trip airfare, accommodation, and full conference registration. The prize is non-transferable and cannot be exchanged for cash or other alternatives.
- Grant Details: The grant will cover the cost (or part thereof) of the CPD (or other initiative) activity (+- associated costs), to a maximum of $3000 as specified in the application. The grant is non-transferable and cannot be exchanged for cash or other alternatives. NZVNA will not be responsible for any additional costs that are incurred above what is awarded to the successful recipients.
- Winner Notification: The winner will be notified by 11th May 2025 via email/phonecall and announced on the NZVNA website and social media channels.
- Acceptance of Prize: The winner must confirm acceptance of the prize within 72hrs of notification. Failure to do so may result in the prize being awarded to an alternate winner. Every reasonable effort will be made by NZVNA to contact the winner prior to it being passed onto another winner.
- Use of Entries: By entering the competition, participants agree to allow NZVNA and BIAH to publish their essays in association publications, website, social media, and marketing collateral.
- Privacy: Personal information provided by participants will be used solely for the purposes of this competition and will not be shared with third parties without consent.
- General Conditions: NZVNA reserves the right to cancel or modify the competition if circumstances arise outside of its control.
